As children we often develop imaginary friends to help us get by. They’re there for us whenever we need them, to hold our hands in the dark, or kiss our scrapes when we fall on the playground, or just to listen to us. They understand us in a way that not even our parents, lovers, or friends ever will. As we get older, they disappear, most people forgetting that they ever existed all together. But what if one day they came back?
RACHEL BERRY - 16 - REAL - OPEN
Rachel Berry is not the most popular girl in school, in fact she is quite the opposite. While extremely driven, talented, and intelligent, she is regarded as a social outcast and annoyance to most around her. To cope, she throws herself in to singing, dance, theater and her dream of making it on Broadway. She lets every insult and every slushy roll over her shoulders on the outside, but on the inside all she wants is a friend.
